Milngavie Business Improvement District

Milngavie is home to over 150 local and national businesses, who work together through the Milngavie BID company to deliver projects, events and a place marketing strategy for our town. 

The company is run by a small team of dedicated volunteer directors from the business community. Their roles is to ensure the business plan is delivered within a 5 year period that the Improvement District operates.

After a 5 year period, all levy paying businesses have the opportunity to participate in a democratic vote to determine whether the BID should continue for a further five years.

We are pleased to report that following a positive vote result announced in January 2024, the BID be continue to deliver a new business plan from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2029.

For the next 5 years, the focus will be on 3 themes:

1 Maintenance and Improvements.

2 Events, Marketing and Promotion.

3 Business Support and Training.
