Girlguiding Scotland is Scotland’s leading charity for girls and young women, helping young members grow in confidence, reach for the stars, have fun and be a powerful force for good. Girlguiding Scotland has a mission to inspire and empower girls to be the best they can be.
Dunbartonshire is one of the larger Girlguiding Counties in Scotland, covering a number of parliamentary constituencies. We take in a small part of North Lanarkshire, most of East Dunbartonshire, all of West Dunbartonshire and part of Argyll and Bute.
At present we have just under 3000 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members as well as just over 600 adult volunteers. Our County is very varied, with rural and urban areas offering many opportunities for outdoor experiences as well as more town/city based activities.
